All volunteers are required to obtain their Police Check. Your volunteer application will cost $23 at the link below.
When completing your Police Check please select "Unsupervised Access" then "Work Experience/Work Placement" and your job title is "Placement at Wildlife Sanctuary"
Once your Police Check is finalised you will receive the outcome in an email. Please forward this email to volunteer@dingoden.net
All Police Check results will remain in strict confidence with only high level management having access.
If you are concerned about something that may appear in your Police Check please be open about it and email or discuss with our Volunteer Coordinator in person, and we can assess the implications it may or may not have on your role. Ownership of one's mistakes and honest communication are vital to our organisation’s success.
On-site volunteers are advised to be up to date with their Tetanus vaccinations in line with standard practice within the animal industry. If you are up to date please provide proof of your vaccination within the last 5 years to volunteer@dingoden.net
Any volunteer transporting dingoes for any purpose must obtain a driving record and send it to volunteer@dingoden.net prior to the transport date. You must be given approval before commencing any trip with dingoes.
Driving Record results will remain in strict confidence with only high level management having access.
Partners, friends and family are welcome! We just have a few house keeping rules! Any volunteer who wishes to have a partner, friend or family member assist in Dingo Den activities please let us know at volunteer@dingoden.net
Waiver forms for visitors will need to be signed and sent to volunteer@dingoden.net prior to them assisting on site. This protocol keeps everyone safe and sound and won't take long at all!
